Have you started a YouTube channel but your views are stagnating, and does gaining subscribers feel like trying to catch a star in the sky?
More important than simply uploading videos "diligently" is a system that creates 'reasons for viewers to stay on your channel.'
Don't cling to fake subscribers (mutual subscriptions).
Introducing a 7-day practical routine to create a virtuous cycle structure that gets chosen by the algorithm.
Day 1: [Feature] Prove your channel's 'color' within 3 seconds
It is the day to find reasons viewers should subscribe, not the videos I want to upload.
- Mission: Check your channel banner (homepage).
- Key: When a viewer enters my channel, within 3 seconds, "Ah, this is [XXX] providing information..." You must feel convinced that "this is the place!" If the identity is ambiguous, the subscribe button will not be pressed.
Day 2: [Analysis] Finding Our Family's 'Hook-Bear Videos'
The answer is not far away. It is already in your YouTube Studio data.
- Mission: Select the 3 videos with the highest subscription conversion rates from the Analytics tab.
- Key: Relentlessly analyze why this video went viral (topic, title, thumbnail). That data is the very formula for your channel's success.
Day 3: [Traffic] Throwing out a powerful flyer, 'Shorts'
Shorts are the 'fishing hook' and 'flyer' that bring new viewers to your doorstep (channel).
- Mission: Create a Shorts of about 1 minute based on the core theme of the 'hit video' found on Day 2.
- Key: Make a short and impactful video that makes viewers think, "I want to watch more videos from this person." Make it.
Day 4: [Recycling] Breathing Life into Dead Videos
Do you have any videos that are great in content but have been buried due to low view counts? Even just changing the packaging makes the algorithm react again.
- Mission: Edit the thumbnails and titles of worthwhile content from your past videos, or utilize the 'Remix' feature.
- Key: Believe in the power of 'rebranding' by incorporating trending keywords and bringing them back to the market.
Day 5: [Communication] Time to build fans
Subscribers are not numbers, they are 'people'. Communicating YouTubers build a strong fandom.
- Mission: Respond thoughtfully to every comment and post polls or questions on the Community tab.
- Key Point: When viewers feel they are participating in running the channel, they reward you with the gift of a 'subscription'.
Day 6: [Planning] Planning the Next 'Main Dish' Recipe
Based on the reactions of the past 5 days, select the topic viewers are most eager for.
- Mission: Write a full-fledged long-form video plan.
- Key Point: Spend 80% of your total planning time on structuring the 10-second introduction (Hook) and the final 15 seconds (leading to the next video). Capturing viewers is a battle decided in the first 10 seconds.
Day 7: [Execute] Hesitation only delays delivery!
Perfectionism is the biggest obstacle to growth.
Mission: Shoot and edit without hesitation based on your plan.
Key: What is more important than perfection is uploading. The video uploaded today serves as the foundation for building 1,000 subscribers tomorrow.
The System Is the Answer
YouTube growth is not luck. It is a process of building a system that narrows the target audience with a clear identity, opens the door with
shorts, and then welcomes them into the home with substantial content.
